Congenital Rubella Syndrome, Slim Chance of Life, & What is Movement (WIM) - The RAS Project 066 w/ Courtenay Turner
Do you appreciate your life?Β
Courtneay TurnerΒ was born with congenital rubella syndrome, which rendered her with several health/medical complications including unilateral blindness, bilateral hearing impairment, heart complications, hypotonia, fine and graphic motor impairment, stunted growth, and asymmetrical bone development.
Her parents were told the best they could hope was to find a nice institution for her to spend the rest of her life. The prognosis was so dismal no one expected that she would be walking, talking, and certainly not exhibiting great feats of athleticism.
The RAS Project is available on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, and iHeartRadio. You can also watch in video on my YouTube channel and Facebook Watch.Β
